What are the differences between the clamping methods of milling and turning composite machining and ordinary lathe machining?

The clamping method for milling and turning composite machining is similar to that of a regular lathe. The workpiece is generally clamped by a chuck, a center frame, and a center clamp. When turning the outer rotating surface, clamp it with a chuck and center, and clamp the inner rotating surface with a chuck and center frame; In the milling process, in order to improve clamping stability, a chuck, a center frame, and a center can be used simultaneously. If the machine tool is equipped with a tailstock, the center frame and tailstock center should be effectively combined to increase clamping strength and reduce vibration during the machining process. In the processing of slender rods, the use of a center frame and a tailstock will determine the success or failure of the part processing. When the chuck center frame center system clamps the workpiece, the workpiece only has the clamping force of the chuck and the top clamping force, and only uses the frictional force of the jaws to tighten the workpiece. Under the action of cutting force and top force, the workpiece and chuck can rotate relative to each other and move along the axial direction. When turning a rotating surface, if the workpiece rotates relative to the chuck during the machining process, it has little effect on the results of the turning milling composite machining, and only the axial movement needs to be restricted.
